COMMUNITY
We meet at 6:00pm every Saturday!
Bring food and drink to share, or just bring yourself!

The Way Station is a community. We are not a church. There’s no membership, there are no commitments, there are no requirements. All are welcome. Although we encourage everyone toward faith and light and love, we understand that each of us is on his or her own faith journey and we support one another as we individually search and study and seek.
Many of us don’t know what is true, what to believe, who to trust. We get that. 100%. Some of us are farther along and have found some exciting truths and are quite passionate about sharing.
Each week we get together for a short message, usually anchored in the teachings of Jesus in The New Testament. We pray together. If someone can sing and/or play a musical instrument and would like to perform a song or a hymn of faith, we welcome that. We would love that!
And then, after that short meeting, we simply hang out together and talk with one another as we share in a giant pot-luck dinner. Okay, we’re hoping it will be a giant pot-luck dinner. If you’re at all able, please bring something delicious to eat or drink. Otherwise, if you’re depending on our station manager (Richard) to provide the food, we’re going to be stuck with just cookies and crackers. And we don’t want that again.
We discourage any emphasis on the negative. Although most of us are former Latter-Day Saints we don’t want to talk a lot about the sketchy parts of LDS history and doctrine. We don’t want to talk about the bad things the LDS Church is doing. There are other places to go if people need that, and we acknowledge that many people do need that.
But The Way Station is a faith-positive community of searchers. We are here to support, love, and serve one another as we individually and collectively seek to know God.
